From the federal government’s Freedom of Information Act to state and local sunshine laws, citizens have rights to request and examine government documents. Too often government agencies do not comply with these laws. The Transparency Foundation provides technical assistance and support to individuals and organizations that seek to force a government agency to comply with the requirements of public record disclosure laws.
